No.1 Whitstable is a small family run, dog friendly restaurant serving an array of small & large sharing plates, steaks and the best breakfast you’ll find here in Whitstable. Our menus are constantly changing and adapting to give our guests the best flavour combinations in each dish. We also offer a small but perfect wine, cocktail, spirit & beer menu! We can cater for any dietary requirements just let us know when you book. No.1 has been in Whitstable for over 2 years now and have catered for many private events and dinners. .

Meet Our Head Chef

Our head chef Jamie started his culinary journey, with early stints at local landmarks including two AA rosette  Sands Hotel Margate. With years of experience working as an agency chef across Kent, he gained a diverse skill set and an unmatched understanding of the region’s ingredients and flavours which gave him the perfect skills to help us open our sister restaurant in Margate. 6 months on we took on the adventure of No.1 . His cooking is a celebration of the Kent coast, featuring fresh, locally sourced produce and a dedication to quality that shines through every dish.
